KaoliArtについて

KaoliArtでは、和紙や和の素材を使い、
折り紙・創作連鶴・和紙のあかり・香りアートなどの作品を制作しています。

日本の伝統的な素材や技法を大切にしながら、
日常の暮らしの中で楽しめる「和のものづくり」をテーマに活動しています。

作品制作のほか、

・ワークショップ
・イベント出展
・展示活動

などを通して、日本の手仕事の魅力を伝えています。

折り紙の中でも、特に一枚の和紙から複数の鶴がつながる「連鶴」は、日本独自の美しい技法です。
KaoliArtでは、この連鶴を現代的な感性でアレンジした創作連鶴の制作にも取り組んでいます。

また、和紙のやわらかな光を楽しむ「あかり作品」や、
和紙を素材にした花や装飾作品など、
和の素材がもつ魅力を生かした作品づくりを行っています。

About KaoliArt

At KaoliArt, I create artworks using traditional Japanese materials such as washi paper and other elements inspired by Japanese culture.

My work includes origami, creative renzuru (connected cranes), washi paper lamps, and fragrance-inspired art pieces.

While respecting traditional materials and techniques, my goal is to create artworks that bring beauty, calmness, and a gentle sense of space into everyday life.

In addition to creating artworks, I share the joy of Japanese craftsmanship through:

  • workshops

  • exhibitions

  • participation in art and craft events

Among the many forms of origami, renzuru—multiple cranes folded from a single sheet of paper—is a unique and elegant Japanese technique.

At KaoliArt, I explore creative interpretations of renzuru, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary artistic sensibility.

I also create washi lighting pieces that highlight the soft glow of Japanese paper, as well as decorative works and flowers made from washi.

Through these creations, I hope to share the quiet beauty and charm of traditional Japanese materials.

作品について

現在は、連鶴をはじめ、実用的な折り紙作品、和紙の花、和のアクセサリー、和紙あかりなど、
和紙の魅力を生かした多様な表現に取り組んでいます。

作品には、日々の暮らしの中に
「そっと整う時間」や「余白」
が生まれることを願っています。

Works

Today my work includes renzuru, practical origami objects, washi flowers, Japanese-inspired accessories, and washi lighting.

Through these pieces, I hope to bring a quiet moment of balance and gentle space into everyday life.

ワークショップについて

イベントや展示会などで、初心者の方でも楽しめるワークショップを開催しています。

折る・つくる時間そのものが、
心を整えるひとときとなるように。

完成した作品は、暮らしの中で飾ったり、
贈り物としても楽しんでいただけます。

Workshops

I also offer workshops that are welcoming for beginners.

I hope the making process itself becomes a calming and centering experience.

Finished pieces can be enjoyed in everyday life—
decorated at home or shared as gifts.
